A Training Ground

Having been in our community for 31 years, Good Shepherd has trained thousands of students for whatever comes next in their lives - kindergarten, first grade, middle school, high school, or even college. But GSS has also been a training ground for our young employees as well. Whether they are headed to college, are in college preparing for a career, or are preparing for motherhood, GSS provides a friendly and supportive environment to learn the skills they need.

Allie Shifflett and Bre Coleman are wonderful examples of this. GSS was able to work with their class schedules, and to give them an opportunity to work with children. These young ladies were able to develop friendships and life skills. They were also able to receive valuable mentorship from quality teachers with experience in their field.

GSS has contributed to the growth of many such young women, and even some young men. We are proud to be part of their story, as they move on to their futures prepared to continue making a positive impact on their communities. And we are thankful for the impact they have as they minister to our students as well!
