Loving Children of All Ages

At Good Shepherd School and Day Care, one of our primary goals is to surround children with the love of God at all ages. Melissa Moody, the Assistant Director at our Waynesboro campus, takes guests on a tour of our facility there, and this goal is apparent in everything she shows them and shares with them.

In the Nursery, Explorer, Discovery, Beginner, and Intermediate/Advanced Classes, teachers show our students God’s love by engaging them with a smile, by attending to their needs joyfully, by reading books to them with this message, and by handling their behavior and their concerns with love.

As they grow, and as they attend our Kindergarten, Learning Center, After Care, and Summer Program, they continue to be reminded about God’s love for them. All along the way, Bible stories and songs are used to plant this important message in their hearts and minds. Prayers and Bible memory are important tools as well.

Our school was founded to pour into children by prioritizing their health, safety, learning, and development. We pray that doing so gives us an opportunity to provide them with a knowledge of God’s love that is a foundation for life. At Good Shepherd, we wholeheartedly want to introduce them to the Good Shepherd!
